I spend a lot of time scrolling through the web pages of different clothing brands, not to necessarily purchase anything, but to stay up to date with trends and to see what pieces are being brought out. I thought to myself, why not share my finds with people?
The first place I always look is H&M, which is controversial as it is not normally peoples favourite for style and quality. I agree, in stores the stock is poor but I have a talent for finding amazing pieces on their website and it has quickly become my favourite high street stores!
These four pieces are my current favourites on the site. All perfect for summer holidays and all at amazing prices. The one shoulder top and coral dress scream Dolce and Gabbana and I recently wore the dress in Italy with a pair of espadrilles and I felt amazing wearing it!
The black tiered maxi dress is in the sale right now so be quick! Its great for a summer evening out on holiday, or a posh event. The frilled dress reminds me of a Zimmerman one on sale currently thats 10X the price! I might have to order myself this after I’ve finished writing! My only problem with H&M is the sizing. Its so small I would recommend going 1 or, sometimes even 2 sizes bigger, they’ve been scrutinised in the press for this recently! H&M really need to sort it out.
Surprisingly, Next have really upped their game for this summer season and brought out some amazing pieces that are bang on trend and at great quality! I’ve been lusting after a March11 embroidered dress for ages now, but the price is just absolutely ridiculous. Next have copied the style and done an amazing job whilst doing it! I love this red dress for holiday with a pair of sandals and the matching top, I too, would style it with denim shorts in summer or boyfriend jeans! These may be ones to wear on the plane.
The two white Broderie and lace dresses are beautiful and perfect for the summer. Whichever you chose, you’ll be bang on trend!
These two pieces are from Topshop. I’m not really the biggest fan of Topshop but I do think they do nice beach wear and shoes. These two items I am lusting after. The slip-ons are gorgeous for wondering round on holiday in and are so easy to wear and pair with everything. The bikini looks so expensive to me and again, I think it looks like it could be from Zimmerman. Please come back in stock!!
Now onto River Island. It’s one of my favourite high street stores all year round but they kill it in summer!
The jumpsuit is perfect for a chilled summer look, styled with heels or flats dependant on the occasion, its just an easy piece to have in your wardrobe. The green frilled dress is the best thing on the website in my opinion. The fabric is so beautiful in real life and looks incredible on. It is available in different colours or patterns so theres something for everyone. The cut and style is so flattering, I’m obsessed!
The beach cover up on the right is a copy of the Pitusa style ones and River Island has black, white and pink styles available for £28! These are brilliant for holiday and look lovely on everyone. Get one while you can!
Finally, Zara, another favourite of mine. I have the wrap dress on the right and it looks incredible on. It looks so expensive and the print is gorgeous. Wrap dresses suit everyone and this one is a real winner.
The blue set is also beautiful. Again this looks great in real life. I prefer the skirt as I think the shape of the top is hard to wear and it shows your stomach, so be aware if you don’t like this. The skirt can be paired with another blue or white top and it looks great, with both heels or flats. The green shirt I really want for my holiday, as I think I want to wear it over a bikini and it would look cool with a nice big pair of sunglasses and slides.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my post and if you have please leave it in the comments below along with any other items you think I might like!
