Designer dupes you need for Autumn

I’m back with another load of high-street dupes. Yay!! This time I’m leaning it more towards items specifically for Autumn/Winter. I know it’s still the middle of summer, but this awful weather is making me so excited for the leather trousers, oversized coats and cosy jumpers.

River Island is where we’ll head to first, starting off with this bright pink t-shirt. Not a very Autumnal colour but, I could image it styled with a pleated midi skirt and ankle boots, or under a nice jacket and jeans. The t-shirt is very much inspired by the heavily overpriced Gucci ones, so if you’ve been lusting after a Gucci tee, why not grab this one instead?

Another item from River Island is inspired by a very love it or hate it piece from Balenciaga. The Balenciaga runners. Costing over £300, these trainers don’t come cheap and I find them very hard to style, and not to my taste. However, RI have done their own “River Island Runners’ in a rose gold colour and they look very similar. If you’re looking to get some sports luxe vibes into your wardrobe, try these!

Zara is killing it for me at the moment, hence why I have 4 items coming up from them in this post! Their AW collection is getting better by the day and I’m being very strict on myself not to buy any more pieces! The first dupe from the wonderful Spanish store is a jacket, and not just any old jacket, a Chanel inspired jacket!! I grabbed this tweed masterpiece as soon as I saw it in the shop, as it just looks beautiful in real life with metallic treads running through it and pearl button details. Paired with a pair of denim jeans and a classic t-shirt for an easy autumn look. What’s not to love?

This next item from Zara I have been wanting for about a month now. I’ve been scanning the new in page everyday, waiting for them to come available and they finally did this morning, which is what sparked this post idea! These gorgeous side striped black trousers are my favourite thing on the site right now. Gucci inspired and just as beautiful as the designer ones. Pair them with a black top and heels for a night out and you’ll certainly be the centre of attention!

Velvet is in this season and I think a good way to rock this trend without going for a full blown velvet suit is to get some velvet shoes. Many designers such as Alexander McQueen and Miu Miu have brought out platforms made of the fabric, they’re so cool. Many high street brands have designed their own versions of a velvet platform, but my favourite are these ones from Zara. Wear your platforms with a mini dress, or, if this look may be too daring, try a velvet ankle boot instead.

Here’s another pair of shoes from Zara and they’re maybe one of the best pairs of boots they’ve ever done. This style of boot is everywhere at the moment, the ruched design makes the calf look very slim and are a lot more comfortable compared to a skin tight knee high design. My favourite ones are by Gianvito Rossi. Zara has done a very similar style in a satin look fabric, available in Navy, Red and Burgundy, theres a colour to go with every outfit! I love them worn with a knitted midi dress.

My final dupe is by H&M and from their new Rebel Heart collection. To me, this collection is highly inspired by Gucci prints and the one piece that stood out to me was their Green Printed culotte suit. It looks very ‘Gucci’ and a very stand out way to get the style into your wardrobe. Rock the two pieces together if you’re brave enough, or each on their own with muted down colours. The trousers can be worn with heels for an evening look or flats for a day time look – why not go all out Gucci and get a pair of fluffy mules to go with?

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and are looking forward to picking up some of these high street steals for your AW wardrobe! Let me know if you have seen any dupes yourself in the comments.
