I live in Zara clothes whilst I’m at Uni, because I think they’re some of the best quality and trend driven that are available on the high street. Recently, the new Studio Collection launched and it inspired me to do some Zara outfit inspirations here on the blog. All of these pieces are available on the Zara website now, so, if you feel inspired head on over there to shop the looks!
Now I know you’ve seen this outfit before but, I think this shirt is one of my favourite pieces I’ve bought. It such a lovely soft and comfy material. If you don’t want to wear it as a dress, because let’s face it, it is a little short at the sides, I pair it with jeans and my Zara navy wrap coat for a day at uni!
Next up is this fab blazer! This is THE blazer, it’s been in and out of stock for weeks and I finally took the plunge and bought it. I love the double breasted style and I’ve paired it with some black leather biker trousers, these are from Zara last year, that you can get on Ebay! I’ve also got on these amazing green embroidered boots, they remind me of Balenciaga’s that they did last season, and they give the outfit some more interest by adding colour and clashing prints.
Another outfit that you’ve seen before on my Instagram! This is a suede, metallic blazer dress! Three qualities that make for a beautiful piece. I love the blazer style, it brings an androgynous vibe to a girly metallic dress. It can be worn as a top with trousers or as a jacket and is perfect for upcoming Christmas parties!
How bloody beautiful is this Zara studio Collection outfit? As soon as I saw it, I wanted it straight away! I love the chunky knit and the uneaveness of the pleats on the skirt, making it different to all the other pleated skirts you see on the high street. It has a lovely high waist with a tie, that gives the illusion that it’s bealted in the middle. A very flattering shape.
I’ve also got on the beautiful leather Studio boots with an abstract heel. I think these look unbelievable on and because they’re black they are easy to style with everything. They’ll make any outfit look effortlessly cool and trendy. One of the best buys in the whole collection.
Another outfit from the collection is again, the pleated skirt, but in the Price of Wales check! This skirt gives a school girl look, especially when it’s paired with the matching blazer and white shirt like I’ve done. It could also be worn with a coloured jumper or silky vest for a different day or night time look!
Sticking again with the oversized white shirt. I’ve teamed it here with some ripped hem Zara skinnys and these cool Prince of Wales checked slingbacks. They have a kitten heel and can be quite hard to wear, I’d try them on if you’re unsure, but I think they’re really cool and look fab with this casual basic outfit.
Can you tell how obsessed I am with the check trend? This is a pair of dungarees from Zara that I’ve paired with the shirt underneath and those Zara black sock boots I keep going on about too! This is such a cute outfit.
We’ve done a clashing print, how about going a step further and clashing colours too! I love this shirt with the velvet tie. I think it looks very Gucci and again, teamed with the embroidered green boots to pick out the green on the top, you’ll look very expensive.
Ive got two shirt dresses coming up because they’re one of my favourite style of dress to wear. This is a floral one you’ll have seen on my Instagram that I’ve put with my sock boots for a laidback, pyjama style, night time look.
This is what I call my Christmas elf dress. Especially when paired with the pointed Zara sock boots. It’s from the TRF section, a gorgeous green, glitter shirt dress that’s prefect for the festive season because green and glitter are two things I think everyone associates with Christmas! I love shirt dresses, I think they suit my frame and style very well.
Finally, this red culottes outfit. Red is very much on trend for AW17 and these culottes are absolutely fabulous. I’ve paired them with this navy and red geometric printed top, again from Zara and my sock boots. This is a brilliant day or night time outfit. There’s a gorgeous red blazer on the Zara website that would look amazing as a suit for an evening event. The navy wrap coat I have, thrown over your shoulders would be great for day time.
I hope you have enjoyed this post and it’s inspired you to create some Zara looks yourself. I recommend the plain Zara basics that can be interchanged, such as the white shirt, the checked blazer and the sock boots. Let me know what you’re going to pick up from Zara in the near future, or what you already have in your autumn/winter wardrobe!
